We’ve got a lot going on over here.
It feels like we ran straight into 2026 at full speed, and honestly? Things are feeling very fun.
The Brand Refresh I’ve Been Dreaming Of
First and foremost, we’re currently in the mindset of a Cohd brand refresh, and this excites me on so many levels… some I expected, some that have taken me by surprise.
Fundamentally, I’m a sucker for aesthetics. And in the four and a half years of Cohd’s existence, I’ve been responsible for pulling together the look and feel. It’s gotten us here, and it's time for the brand to get some love and attention from professionals who do this for a living.
I’m beyond excited to share the new branding and updated look in the coming months.
What’s surprised me, though, is how much more grounded and clear I feel when putting into words everything we do at Cohd.
Last week, I sat down to rewrite the homepage copy for cohd.co 2.0 (more like 4.0 actually, but I digress). The pillars are the same. We’re running the same business. The results and impact we see each week continue to hold true and inspire me constantly.
But the language that poured out of me as I set out to write the story in web-copy form feels so much more confident. More vivid. The ability to convey what we’re up to, why we do it, and why it matters feels more assertive, human, and real than what has existed up to this point.
Part of that analysis might be projection, because I personally feel all of those things. But how I felt after seeing the new copy I wrote was an unexpected delight. It gave me a moment to pause and recognize how far the company has matured.
Don’t Take My Word For It
And in many ways, other people will always be able to tell the story better than I can. In week one of 2026, I traveled to Kansas City to film testimonials, which you’ll see on the website soon enough.
Hearing so many folks talk about the Elevate Program and the impact of this work so eloquently will be one of the core memories I carry with me as it relates to Cohd.
I believe in what we’re doing so deeply, and I will never stop being touched by our participants— by their willingness to lean in, their vulnerability, their eagerness to keep growing, and their desire to support both Cohd and me along the way.
There is something so powerful about people authentically sharing their own experience. Sitting down to film those testimonials and hear directly from people who’ve graduated from the program was truly a highlight of my career.
Back Home, Full Speed Ahead
But now, we’re back in Brooklyn. Back in our rhythms and team practices.
I’m sitting at my desk looking at a mountain of books that need to be shipped out for all of the new cohorts kicking off. We have new clients starting in January, and we had a record-breaking number of cohorts begin in December.
And somehow I’ve made it this far without mentioning one of the biggest milestones yet.
Cohd’s Growth Spurt
We’ve officially onboarded four new Cohd coaches and facilitators, all of whom are jumping into cohorts and leading classes for the first time— and doing it beautifully, I might add.
This feels like a real marker of growth.
For a long time, I held onto some very real limiting beliefs about expanding beyond doing everything myself. In hindsight, that approach was absolutely right for the season we were in: one of learning, refining, and building.
But seeing this work grow beyond me, watching other coaches carry it forward with so much care and skill, has been incredibly special.
I’ll share more about our coaches and this next phase of Cohd in future notes, but all to say: we’ve got a lot of new folks in the Elevater pipeline, and 2026 is shaping up to be a very fun year.
Thank you all for the support.
I’m excited to keep growing, learning, and getting better in 2026.
